We are on the move to the Pearl

We are excited to announce the move of our flagship showroom to Portland’s vibrant Pearl District this May. This move marks a new chapter for us, strengthening our presence in the heart of Portland while staying true to our commitment to the city

The new showroom, located in the historic Graphic Arts Building at NW 9th and Couch, was once home to the iconic Pearl Bakery. The building’s rich history aligns with The Joinery’s values of craftsmanship and longevity, making it the perfect space to showcase our handcrafted furniture.

While the past several years in Portland have been challenging, through it all we’ve continued to create beautiful furniture that brings people joy. Despite the obstacles, our love for Portland and its vibrant neighborhoods, communities, and businesses has not wavered. We’re proud to be part of the city’s resurgence and this move continues our commitment to contribute to its recovery.

The new location will allow us to better serve customers and the design community, with floor-to-ceiling windows and striking architectural details that enhance the beauty of our work. We are thrilled to be part of the legacy of this building and its rich history in Portland. Conveniently located near Powell's Books and the iconic Fuller's Coffee Shop, the showroom is even closer to our customers, art galleries, and other local businesses that we admire and partner with

Here are a few of photos of our team visits and neighborhood walk-about during the showroom buildout.

Stay tuned for the details of our Grand Opening Party later in May along with lively First Thursday events starting in June.
