As the conversation around U.S. tariffs continues to evolve, there’s a lot of uncertainty in the market. At The Joinery, we’re watching these developments closely, with a continued focus on creating the best experience for our customers.
We craft all of our furniture here in the U.S using domestically-sourced hardwoods. Compared to other companies that rely heavily on imported furniture, we’re fortunate to be minimally affected by tariffs. Despite using some materials that are impacted (such as hardware and upholstery), and the possibility of supply shocks for U.S.- grown hardwoods, we will continue to work on keeping costs down without compromising quality.
We know that rising prices will make customers more thoughtful about their purchases, which plays to The Joinery’s strengths. We have always focused on quality, craftsmanship, and transparency – values that matter deeply to our customers. With a lifetime warranty and a story rooted in American craftsmanship, we offer lasting value in uncertain times.
As we navigate this shifting landscape, we are committed to not just adapt, but to continue sharing what makes our furniture so special: timeless design, domestic materials, and the incredible skills of our team.
Sincerely,
Jon Blumenauer
