Although we have a catalog full of beautiful standard designs, our customers still often approach us to create custom work. These unique projects are a challenge for our designer, builders and sales team to design and build, but they are most rewarding when they are able to be a part of a family for generations to come. This custom clock display cabinet was definitely one of those pieces, designed to house three large clocks made by the customer’s grandfather.
These were no ordinary clocks. They are beautiful – even award-winning – wooden works of art. Below is a documentation of the original images we received and the process of building this one-of-a-kind piece. Tim's work on this case was extraordinary, and he managed to create a stunning piece that also highlighted the incredible craftsmanship of the clocks.
