Full- and Part-Time Sales Associate

Portland’s premier maker of handcrafted furniture is seeking an energetic and creative full-time salesperson to enhance our team.

Since 1982, The Joinery has created handcrafted furniture for residential and commercial spaces. A certified B Corp, we operate with a deep commitment to our employees, environment, and community. Each piece is designed and built in Portland, OR by highly-skilled woodworkers using time-honored techniques – keeping alive a craft that blends art with function.

As part of our sales team, you’ll maintain a thriving base of loyal customers and creatively expand business by making new connections, forging creative collaborations, and building personal clientele.

Successful applicants have:

• 3+ years of sales and customer service experience (other industries count!)
• A track record of outstanding sales performance
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• An understanding of specialized products and sophisticated customers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• While not required, experience with an ERP system, home furnishings, or commissioned sales is a plus
