The Joinery and Perch Furniture are teaming up to offer a fun, hands-on interior design workshop on Saturday, May 18th. Please join us at Perch for mimosas and personalized interior design instruction and space planning advice from Cassandra Jackson, the Joinery's Brand Manager, and Amelia Budai, Perch Furniture's Lead Designer.
Located in the Fremont neighborhood, Perch Furniture creates sofas for everyday living. Like The Joinery, their furniture is hand-crafted and customizable. We are excited to join forces with them for this personalized design event.
This workshop will walk participants through the process of gathering inspiration, selecting design elements, and re-imagining their living room spaces. Together with the Perch and Joinery design teams, participants will create a physical mood board for inspiration help design a beautiful, cohesive and functional living space.
In this workshop you will:
- Create a personalized physical mood board with materials from amazing local Portland shops including, Pratt + Larson tile, SMG Collective rugs, textile and leather samples from Perch, wood samples from The Joinery, wallpaper from MAKELIKE and Lonesome Pictopia, and paint options from Miller Paint.
- Get tips and ask questions about key design elements for living rooms, including customizing furniture to fit your space, choosing color, incorporating different textures, and floor planning.
- Learn how to move from gathering inspiration to creating a concept that meets your design goals and budget.
