The Joinery is providing furniture to help stage the Goat Blocks Apartments on SE Belmont in Portland. Named for the herd of goats that occupied the previously vacant blocks in the heart of Portland’s vibrant Central Eastside, the blocks are being developed to include four different apartment buildings, each with its own design aesthetic, feel, and use of community space. The space also includes a variety of retail and restaurants, including Market of Choice and Kachka.
We currently have pieces in the Ten10 building, which have Scandinavian-inspired finishes and a clean, simple design. With this aesthetic, the Modern Simple bed and Slipper Chair were naturals in the bedroom, as well as the Cantilever Desk in the open loft office space. On the open first floor plan, we have our Celilo Media Console, Milo Bar Cart and the ultimate in versatility, the Butcher Block Island.
There are three more buildings opening soon, each with a distinctive feel, but all with a great close-in location and access.
