  • Purchasing

    Lead Times

    Joinery furniture is currently built in about ten to fifteen weeks depending upon the piece. Orders may be able to be completed within a shorter lead time for an expediting fee on a case-by-case basis. Alternatively, you may purchase one of the many pieces of furniture off of our showroom floor, most of which are available immediately. Check with us for current availability. Lead time does not include delivery to your final location. The delivery of furniture could be 1 - 5 weeks to your total lead time depending on the final shipping address and shipment method. Please check with us or your third party shipper for an estimated delivery time frame.

    Delivery & Pick-Ups

    CUSTOMER PICK-UPS: If you choose to pick up your furniture yourself, please arrange a pick-up time in advance. Be sure to bring blankets or other padding, plus tie-downs to protect your furniture. Our pickup times are Monday-Saturday from 10-5 Pickups are not available on Sundays.

    WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY:  For deliveries within Oregon, we will arrange for your furniture to be brought into your home, placed, and assembled. Delivery personnel will remove all packaging materials, but cannot move your existing furniture, attach anything to walls, or connect electronic equipment unless such services have been discussed prior to delivery with your salesperson. Additional fees will apply. For white glove delivery outside of Oregon, we can recommend third-party carriers who provide exceptional service. The carrier will work with you directly to schedule the delivery.

    CURBSIDE DELIVERY:  Furniture will be crated by The Joinery, shipped to your home, and delivered to your curbside by a third-party carrier. You are then responsible for unpacking and disposing of crate and placing the furniture in home.

    Warranty

    The Joinery is proud to offer a lifetime warranty for all residential furniture for the original owner of the piece. The warranty covers any defects that occur with the furniture structure or wood materials. The warranty does not cover wear and tear; upholstery, fabric or leather; hardware or other third-party components; damage sustained during shipping; misuse of furniture; or repairs that were not completed by The Joinery or its designated representatives.  Some customer-requested design specifications may also be excluded.

    Returns

    The Joinery’s goal is complete customer satisfaction.  We honor return and exchange requests of standard product listed on our website that are received within 14 days of delivery. Requests for returns or exchanges made more than 14 days from the delivery date will be honored at the sole discretion of The Joinery and, if accepted, will incur a restocking fee. Unless the merchandise is damaged, the cost of delivery, crating and/or shipping will not be refunded.  We will facilitate the return delivery or shipping as needed, and will deduct that cost from the price of the returned merchandise. We will not accept returns on custom furniture, mattresses or special order items.

    Damaged Merchandise

    Please contact The Joinery immediately if your furniture arrives damaged or defective. We will resolve all issues as quickly as possible.

    Cancellations

    The Joinery will accept cancellations on all standard products within seven days of the order date. After that, or for custom orders, we will review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis and will charge for design/build time incurred or materials purchased for the job.
