A collection of immigration stories from our B Corp Family: Their journeys, experiences, and reflections on home.
The development of this book and process is a project of B Local PDX, a group of certified B Corporations from Oregon and SW Washington working to foster an deepen connections among organization in our region who share our purpose and passion for using business as a force for good.
All profits from the sales of this book will be donated to Oregon Healthcare Interpreters Association.
We are grateful for the collaborative efforts of members of B Local PDX and an amazing group from the Portland creative community who brought this project to fruition entirely on volunteer time. These include Neil Kelly, A to Z Wineworks, Nossa Familia, MMercer Consulting, Bamboo Sushi, and The Joinery's own Kelsey Moody; photographers Kim Oanh Nguyen, Meghan Paddock Farrell, and Nino Ortiz; Lacy Cagle of the NW Earth Institute; Visible, Tré Seals of Vocal Type, and Kristin Howe Wilson, and Scout Book’s Equity Alliance which donated printing for the first round of books.
