Friends of Trees Neighborhood Planting January 16th

Since 1989, Friends of Trees has planted half a million trees throughout the Portland/Vancouver and Eugene/Springfield metro areas. Nearly every Saturday, Friends of Trees is out at one or more planting sites and they always need more help planting trees; no experience required. Simply show up, wear closed-toes shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Friends of Trees provides the breakfast, gloves, tools and expert guidance to have a great time. A potluck lunch is provided at the end of the planting.

The Joinery has teamed up with Friends of Trees to sponsor a day of planting in SE Portland at the Creston/Kenilworth, Foster-Powell, Mt. Scott and Reed neighborhoods. We'll be taking The Joinery team of woodworkers to plant the raw materials we love for our furniture pieces.

Join us Saturday, January 16th, 9am to 1pm.

Meet us at the Mt. Scott Learning Center, 6148 SE Holgate Blvd, Portland, OR 97206. The event will start right at 9am.
