E-Cycling Event at The Joinery | April 22-30th

Anything with a Plug! The Joinery will be hosting a FREE electronics recycling event, kicking off on Earth Day April 22nd and running through April 30th. We want to give the community a chance to recycle any used electronic devices.

Electronic waste is the fasting growing part of our country’s waste stream. In Oregon, you are not allowed to throw computers, monitors or TVs in the garbage. Electronics contain both re-usable materials and hazardous waste, dismantling requires proper facilities.

We will be accepting electronics at our SE Woodstock location only – 4804 SE Woodstock, Portland. At the end of the week, we will be loading up our delivery truck and dropping off the items at Far West Recycling. Once Far West receives the materials it is sorted into grades and recycled through manual and automated systems to create commodity grades that can be turned into new products.

We can accept the following electronics

  • Computers – Laptops, Towers, Servers and Tablets
  • Kitchen appliances (small only)
  • Keyboards, Mice, DVD/CD Drives
